What's the cheapest 💲💲💲 HEMI motor for garage art?

Just curious.  I'd like to have an old HEMI motor painted up for garage art/man cave conversation piece.  It's gotta be new enough with the big heads (overhead valves)
I'm just thinking it'd be cool to have.

My buddy has a 392 in his garage- the heads are monstrous. The valve covers are way cool too.  Not sure where you'd find one these days   :scratchchin:

I remember years ago seeing mock up Hemi's for just the kind of thing you are talking about.

IMO it might be worth using a plastic long-block mockup just for the practicality.  You could get the '64-71 Gen-2 version you really want.  It still wouldn't be lightweight by the time the accessories were on it, but it would be light enough to move around without a hoist.  By the time it's covered in real external parts it would still have a pretty metal & heavy mojo to it too.

The mockups cost money.  But even if you used a real junk one you'd have a few hundred bucks in the operation eventually.  Motors don't get located & moved around & mounted & cleaned up & painted & dressed with the accessories for nothing.

That's a great idea.  Easy to move like you said also.

They look cool dressed up too.
Built a cradle/stand for it.

I have some badly cracked 426 heads, a spare 440 block, ebay junk valvecovers, ratroaster intake (the only fairly expensive piece) and some old 5210 Hooker headers and some wedge engine AFB's. I just need some time to screw it together and paint it.
