Hey guys , are any of you into watercraft ? Looking to buy one now that my kids are at that age and we vacation on a lake . I had one from 2000-2003 , and said would get another someday so now am researching all the current makes/models . Have a couple diff ones in mind per peoples feedback .
So if any of you have them or have current knowledge of them , would appreciate opinions/ideas .

I have two Yamaha 1300 GTR's.  Fast and fun.

But considering the amount of time on the water, they are my biggest waste of money since I bought a hot tub.  But I guess it all depends on how much you use them.

Not gonna get into the technical pros and cons between models.....they all suck your $$.

I had a 2002 Yamaha FX140 (4-stroke) & never had a lick of trouble with it in 13 years. Just sold it & bought a slightly used  260 HP supercharged Yamaha FX Cruiser SVHO. The friggin thing hauls!!!

if you get one have fun, but think of the people around you  

 over here their greatest pleasure seems to be to harass guys in boats doing a spot of quiet fishing  

know as the dirt bikes of the sea ,and theres just as many people that HATE them (think stringing a piece of rope from your boat to shore and waiting with it on the surface , but I was just tied off to shore        )  as love them

I've had a Kawasaki and a Yamaha.  Of the two I liked Yamaha best.    
It's all about preference as they all are fairly reliable and fast.
