I have noticed if my car is parked on a steep elevation like the front it pointing down hill that the gas tank will leak out some where the fill tube goes into the tank. I have the black o ring on the outside but it still leaks if the car is on a steep enough hill. Does anyone else have this issue?

My 74 leaks around the neck to tank seal also  and it is all new.  How do you seal this?

Mine was new two years ago. I may try some "seal all" type of sealant that doesn't deteriorate when in contact w gasoline
I thought I have seen it before at AutoZone but didn't know if there was a better way then using sealant

Hard Charger

leaking gas is never normal, especially from the rubber donut at the tank and filler tube.

I had the same trouble with my C500, the first thing that I noticed was I had the wrong fuller tube seal in it. It was to big, and not every much (it was for a 69' other than charger). I installed another new seal and used this stuff from O'Reillys. Part number (23009). never had that problem again.
