Hi Guys !

I'm trying to buy an overhaul kit and hoses for My 68 Charger R/T 's Power steering gearbox and Federal Pump. The Gearbox P/n is G2267262 is this made by Chrysler or Saginaw I am being asked ?

Better still do you know which kit and hoses I need to order ...... :2thumbs:

Thanks

John_Kunkel

G2267262 is the casting number, it was used on several cars from '62 up into the seventies. The part number is probably 2537737 and it's a Chrysler box. GATES 350510 kit should work.

Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

If all you are looking for is the elimination of leaks, that is one thing. If you are looking to improve the feel and tightness of the gearbox, you really should consider sending the unit to Firm Feel in Washington State.
