What are the qualifying components to prove a 72-74 is a rallye car? Is it just the A57 on the fender tag (rallye package)? Or do you need the broadcast sheet?

A57 codes should be enough HOWEVER, Lynch road cars never got that code on Tag.

what else ? bulged hood allong with rallye cluster and rear sway bar. On 72s the horizontal louvered doors and louvered Tail lights, on 73/74 the mid body side rally stripe ( although on 74 NOT JUST THE RALLYES got these stripes ). All these parts got separated codes on Lynch road cars
Venezuelan RT 74 400 4bbl, 727, 8.75 3.23 open. Now stroked with 440 crank and 3.55 SG. Here is the History and how is actually: http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,7603.0/all.html

Also.  If Lynch road cars, look for a possible V21 code.  I believe only rallye option when A57 is not present

I have one like this. The fact it's an L code car is also a dead gig away for rallye

So in some cases the Vin could tell you everything you need to know.   Since some motors were specific only with the rallye
