I'm replacing the dust cover on my 4 speed Superbird and bought a new one from Brewers. It came in bare metal. What color should it be from the factory? Any help is much appreciated.

it was engine color, in your case orange

:iagree:

The engine, bellhousing and cover would be the same shade of orange since it was all painted as an assembly.

Please tell me what that is that's sticking down between the inspection cover and the exhaust manifold.  It has a grease fitting on it.  Thanks!

You aren't talking about that lug sticking out of the starter are you?

Yes - Up to 1969 - 4-speed Hemi's used this starter. Automatics used the standard starter. 70-71's used the standard starter on both transmissions.
