Model on Superbird Wing

I stumbled onto this on the web.....never seen it before.

Sure. That won't attract any attention toward her.

I am really curious about the picture.

The Superbird looks new, but there are no "vanity" type plates on it. The "I" on "Superbird" has been picked away, as often happened with decals on show cars at auto shows back in the day-see the pictures of the AAR at the NY 1970 auto show.

The Vit-C orange S/B was at the 1970 Detroit, Chicago, and NY shows.

The ceiling in the picture does not look like the Detroit and Chicago main area ceilings, though it could be an off area.

I am not where my auto show programs are, but it comes to mind that the Montreal was in a concrete building.

The ceiling does look like the NY Coliseum building but w/o the ceiling lights commonly seen. Maybe could be in a lobby before you got in the main show areas? Could it have been a 2nd Superbird at NY 1970? Has white decals.

A number of places had concrete ceilings of that pattern.

I wonder if it's a "Give-a-way" Superbird, and that's why it doesn't have the vanity plates.
