Bob

According to the add it does not fit.

AmadeusCharger500

Yep. That was my question, why. 71 and 72 chargers are almost identical, is it the same for Satellites?

Bob

I'm sure Nacho will chime in as soon as he reads this. You would think that all 71-74 b bodies would mount and hook up the same depending on speed. But I guess that would not be a Mopar if they did.

I have a 2-speed wiper motor I took out of a '71 Charger parts car back in the '80s. Don't know if it works or not. Never needed it as my car has a 3-speed motor. I can take photos of it and post pics if you need.

All 71/74 B and E bodies will fit...

Thanks Nacho. Its funny they advertise it as only fitting 72 -74 Satellite.

For some reason number was changed allong the years. I know on 72 the three speeds changed a bit, due somekind of "tower" on cap for the parking switch system, but works and fits the same than the ones without tbe tower. ( same parking position )

Not entirely true.  The 73SE is a different animal.

Nacho-RT74

What? That doesn't make sense

Who says the engineers made sense.

They list on fleabay for $300 NOS.

Rebuilt for $100.

It took multiple attempts to get the picture posted, but here ya go.  The wiper motor for a 73SE.  Visible different.

Nacho-RT74

That's 3 speeds... The other one is two speeds. That diff is just about that, not fitment.

If you get a 3 speeds wiper motor from any 71/74 B or E body, will fit on your 73.

Same case about 2 speeds.

In fact, you can even install a 3 speeds on a 2 speeds cars or backwards from same years, getting also the switch, crank and main rod on linkage assembly ( and parking cam asembly if that's the case with 2 speeds ).
