67 Charger Oil Pressure

The oil pressure gauge on my 67 Charger is pegged. I have heard that this may be a sending unit issue. Anything I should look as far as a replacement one?

Pull the wire connector off the sender. Does the gauge return to zero? If so it's the sender shorted out, if not the wire is pinched/bare/shorted to ground somewhere.
