I will be attending Hot Rod Power Tour 2016 with 2 friends.
We are considering bringing over an Aussie Mopar over for the cruise and selling it after.
We have had a general discussion and thought it may be worth throwing it out there to see what interest there may be.
We don't want to go to the trouble of bringing one over and then have to leave it. I do have some friends in the US, so could possibly leave it with them for sale, but I prefer not to hassle them.

Only thing to consider is the Aussie cars probably represent more of a curiosity and maybe not good value for money when compared to a US Chrysler as they are becoming hard to get over here at a reasonable price and are all sixes or small blocks. An advantage is they are basically A bodies so mechanically would not be an issue.

For example a 68-70 "Dart " wagon would have to sell for around US $15K, a non RT charger around US$30K.+
For us it is not a profit making exercise, we just want the fun of having an Aussie car , so happy to talk to anybody who may be wanting an Aussie Mopar and needs somebody over here to assist. If anybody on the forum is interested, or have any friends who may be interested, please feel free to contact me.
One of my friends was a regular on the A bodies forum, so was going to ask him to post a similar thread( he has a 67 Barracuda Formula S and a few Aussie Mopars, I have a Superbird) We are pretty familiar with the Mopar hobby, and I have an import business, so this idea should not prove to be a major issue. Biggest issue may be arranging having it there and registered so we can drive it across multiple states.
Any thoughts anybody?

Cheers, Rick
