among my chargers i do have a soft spot for the torino talledegas. just thought the nose was awesome. so i built a modified version of one from a gt 69 torio. i cut the front end back 6" and then built a talledega nose so the car was stock length vs a real talledega being 6" longer, flared the fenders, made a spoiler and cougar tail lights. there is no talledega kit, had to hand make all sheetmetal, at the time all i had was a ball hammer, duck bill pliers, hand sheetmetal tools, grinder and welder, no beed roller, brake, shrinker or english wheel lol. the rear bumper was cut up and modified to use on the front. i spent all that time making this car and now im just trying to sell it to pay for a 70 charger i found in a barn lol. just thought ide share the pics. i think she looks aggresive lol

relocated the grill and headlights 3" forward and 1" down if i remember right

Isn't the front bumper on these the back bumper? I heard that from a guy in Oregon here that owned two of those - White and Burgundy pair.

thats right, they used a rear bumper but still had to cut and modify them to be used. i had to cut out the center, put more of a v shape in it and shorten the outer corners.

Looks really cool.

I've always had the same thought looking at the stock Talladegas - it would look better if it was a shorter front overhang.

:drool5:  Super nice work! I owned a Gurney Spoiler II for a few years and miss it now.  Have you sold this Torino yet?

Good luck with your projects.

Godspeed,
Jon
