Hi guys!

As a foreigner how do i get a tilte for a car?In order to ship a car it has to have a tiltle and some cars aren't coming with it!
Is it difficult to get one not having an address there?I just don't wanna lose out on a car just because of the tiltle is missing!

Thanks!

i get a clean clear title on anything i want just with  text message of the vin number and $250, then its in the mail box 60 days later. dont even have to see the car, or anything. getting titles is super easy. ive done 13 cars this way so far.

But as i said i don't have an address in the States!Don't you need to prove that that car belongs to you?So you could get a tiltle for any car even which isn't yours?
What if i buy a car without a tiltle but with a bill of sale and get a tiltle posted to a friend's address! On the tiltle which address will be shown my home address which is in Hungary or the address it got posted to?

If getting a tiltle so easy as you say why people don't bother getting it?

because most people dont know how to do it or who to go thru, when i give him the vin number all he does is run it thru the vehicle stolen check list. aslong as it comes clean, its mine. no i dont need proof of ownership. i find alot of chargers and mopars in wrecking yards, abandoned or owner lost title and been sitting 30 years that i have bought. doesnt scare me one bit to buy them like this, all i do is make sure its not stolen.

Getting a title in some states is easy because they don't care if the car is stolen or has a lien. In Texas, it is harder to get a title. If you buy a car without a title, then you may be buying a a car that does not belong to the seller. That can be a big can of worms and may land you in a position without a car and your money gone. If the car is legally owned by the person you are buying it from, then a title is no problem. Car without titles are usually parts that have been sold or passed around and not legally transfer so who knows who owns them. In my case, I only sell cars that have a legally obtained title. The latest car I will be selling is a 68 Charger 383 4 speed and I am going through lots of hoops to get a title. I hired a detective and he researched data bases I have no access to. He found the legal registered owner in the state and secured a legal, though the state. I will be getting a legal title from the owner and I will transfer it to me. Then I can sell it. Make sure you are buying a legit car and don't take the chance of a car without a title.

Like Fastmark said, some states are easier than others, but, all require some footwork and some are almost impossible.  In your situation, and knowing what I've gone through in the past, YOU should NOT consider a car without a title.

If the seller says its easy to get one, then let him get it and then buy the car.
