You will never see an air show like this in America. Beautiful scenery. I haven't seen choppers do what they do like this.

Help pilots are not fond of doing hammerheads.........lots 'o speed
required..........even then, when approaching vertical rotors lose all lift but the
maneuver is way cool nonetheless.

Man, Budapest is a beautiful city. Have you been there?

Just one of many places I'd like to visit.
FLY NAVY/Marine Corps or take the bus!

:2thumbs:  Haven't been there but I'm half Hungarian. My granddaddy escaped from Hungary around 1918, 1919. Turned communist so he bailed to America.

I remember when McDonnell Douglas (now Boeing) use to demonstrate how maneuverable the AH-64 Apache was by having their test pilot perform aerobatics.  It was a very impressive performance for a production attack helicopter.  The demonstrations were a direct answer to European claims that the Apache was un-maneuverable due to its size and weight.

Thanks for posting that. Great airshow.

I've personally seen Chuck Aaron and the Red Bull heli at a San Carlos air show in California. The rotor blades made some horrific noises through the air but all was well. All in all a great show.

I also remember as a kid a military heli doing a loop at the Reno air show.
