Hey There!!
There will be a million more questions, but theres a few for now off the top of my head.  Ok, I've had it 7 months in the garage, and now the charger is at the shop and assessment time has begun to begin the restoration.  Regarding the grill, how is it to be properly restored?   Is it black on the grill part and then re-chromed all around it?   What is that process for factory oem on a restored grill?  Also, how much of AMD should i use?  they have lots and lots of parts.  Is it best to stick to the sheet metal with them for going back to oem?   or do you recommend other parts?  they have alot on there.  Or pretty much any and all metal go through AMD?

Thanks, I will have more, much more for you all...

There's a sticky in the paint and body section of the board with all the info you need for restoring a grille.

Yes AMD is by far the best for sheet metal.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

What are recommendations for brake lines, etc?  AMD?  Is there another company that makes a better OE fit?

Ghoste

Fine Lines or Inline Tube make repro brake lines.

NHCharger

I used Fine Lines for all my brake lines and front wheel disc conversion on my 68. Excellent parts. Excellent customer service.
