The 2226821 is correct for a 1970 B Body except hemi but cannot confirm if it is correct for a Superbird. I am assuming it is but I'm sure someone can confirm for you  :2thumbs:

hi. ok cool. Well. All the ones I see have a bolt in that boss that's in the middle on the underside and do NOT have that screw on the back flage with the little tab holding the plunger in. So im trying to figure out what that means. also. The date code is  291.  With screw heads on either end. no Letters.  So im wondering what date that is?  thanks

Not sure what your not sure of but that screw with the little tab on the back of flange holding the plunger in, just holds the plunger in place while it is not mounted. That screw and little tab is removed when the rod, cap and seal are mounted on to the master cylinder. If that screw and little tab would not be there, the plunger will push out and fall on the floor.

hi there. Thanks for that post. Yes you are right. what I mean is. If you look at others on ebay or other places. They don't have that screw or tab. Not even a place for it. But they have a bolt underneath the cylinder on that boss. So im wondering if that bolt on that boss is how they hold it in on those ones. And then im wondering which style would be correct for superbird. I will see if I can cop some pics of what im talking about and post them. thanks

DoubleDlover

here are the pics of the other style. Hope there big enough.. r
