I have had the complete floor replaced on my 69.Now I have no idea how the fuel tank attaches. Maybe the reproduction boot floor is missing something. I have the straps and the J bolts but can not see how the tank is mounted. Can anyone help please. Any photos would be of great benefit.
Thanks

any chance your 69 looks like this underneath?
If so this may help. the straps go in to the angle slots left and right of the oval hole.
Straps go in first then the tank slides on to the straps, lift the tank up and slip the strap on to the J-bolt in to the body holes, snug up the nuts.
A block of wood with a towel on top holds it in place really good while you snug up the nuts, don't make them tight till the tank is in the correct location.

There are 2 brackets that need to be welded on the new floor(See Pics). I believe I got mine from Rock Auto but not 100% on that. They're relatively cheap and easy to install. Hope this helps
