Well as some may know, I've been having engine problems with the Dart. Slight blue smoke, soft popping, and oil covering the piston and spark plug in #6. Expecting the worst I got a call from my mechanic (cousin). As he explained it, the pushrod went up through the rocker. So far everything else looks ok.  :shruggy:

I had a screamin' little 360 in a mud boggin truck that would do that on a fairly regular basis! At one point we actually carried a coffee can full of spare rocker arms just so we could replace them between runs! Then we got a HEI distributor and set the rev limit low enough we would stop pushing the rods through the arms.
Daddy ran whiskey in a big black dodge
bought it at an auction at the masons lodge,
Johnson County Sherriff painted on the side,
just shot a coat of primer then he looked inside,
well him and my uncle tore that engine down,
I still remember that rumblin' sound.....

They make good coat hangers for the shop. I carry spares as well, easy roadside repair.

I use mine for garage art.

I had a 340 in a truck out of a cop car years ago that did it. Easy fix for a miss.

A12 Superbee

Happened in my Superbee not long ago.

Pretty hard sourcing a replacement here in Australia but we managed.

I was thinking of going to a Harland and Sharp roller setup. Anyone done this and have a model number for the parts/kit?
A12 Dodge Superbee Coupe 4 speed Car number 157 in the A12 Registry.
XBGT Ford Falcon sedan, same model as Max drives in The Roadwarrior, the yellow car he starts off in.
WANT: Triple black 68 or 70 Charger!

Does something look wrong here?

Car was running almost the same before and after this happened. No loss of oil pressure. All the other pushrods and rockers were inspected, all fine. The pushrod was still straight although a new one was ordered with the replacement rocker. Rest of the engine checked out as well. Should have the Dart back up and running barring any unforeseen circumstances by this weekend.

Do you guys find the slug from the rod hole floating around in the valley?
