Hi guys,

Do you know where I can find information about Chargers, how they did look like when they were brand new, original colors, etc...
I'm restoring some parts from the engine compartment, like the heater blower motor, headlight door motor, wiper motor, steering gearbox.. and I want to paint these in the original color, and where do I find this informtion?

Any tips and help is appreciated!

Thanks!

Thanks a lot!

I've been on google and searched like cracy, but with no good result. That'swhy I asked this type of question here when google can't help me :)
I've seen a lot of pics on engine compartments but many use different colors on different parts, seems like people paint in the color they like best :)

I'll try 70chargerregistry, thanks!

Good info there, thanks! But it's missing the info I'm looking for..

I'll try with the "chargerregistry" and see if I can find additional info there.

Whatever you do, don't paint it black underhood unless its a black car.
Are you doing a 70?  (just wondering)

Here's another good link to the factory paint charts.  They absolutely do NOT show correctly on a computer monitor.

How about Paul Hurd's "Charger Restoration Guide"?  I know Galen slammed it, but I found it to be useful on several occasions.

Here's another book that might be helpful. Don't know if its 100% correct - but it looks to be a good reference. Anybody else use or have seen this one?
Here are the pages for the suspension parts. Pretty sure there is another page for the engine parts.
