They were off the market? I had no issues buying some recently.

A few years back Crane was in trouble. These were NLA so long I'd given up on them.

Are they any good?? I heard the old run of them were problematic with the lock nuts etc.

This hobby is more than just our cars, it's the people you get to meet along the way!!!

USA made, I don't know about issues.  :shruggy:

I lost an engine "Original to my car" to a set of Crane "Gold" adjustable rockers. They did not heat treat the adjusters, and within 2000 miles they had worn down. Oil pressure went to zero, and I parked it... It sat for 9 years till I could afford to build another motor.

Crane was kind enough to send me another set of adjusters.  :flame:

they admitted they had a bad batch go out with no heat treat.
JUNKTRAVELER: all I've seen in this thread is a bunch of bullies and 3 guys that actually give a crap.

These are the "ductile iron adjustable rockers" in 5 to 1 ratio that went NLA a few years ago. I feel your pain at a nine year delay mishap.  :eek2: I've had things go all sideways and burn up my budget and the clock also but not for that long.  :pity:
