 :2thumbs: I wonder how much the real value placed on this find would go? I would expect a nugget like that would be worth much more then it's weight value to collectors or museums. :Twocents: --or--$$$$

Large gold nuggets are worth on average more than just their gold content.  This is not necessarily true about smaller ones (1/4 oz and smaller).  The larger the gold nugget, the larger the premium usually gets for said piece when it goes to auction.  Find a world record and you have hit the big time payout when it sells....
