My strut rods are both bent. What would cause this?
Is it a bad idea to try to straighten the strut rods with a hydraulic press?
If I decided to replace these, who sells stock, non adjustable steel strut rods?

They could get bent any number of ways; hitting a curb, using them as a jack point, jumping the creek out behind Uncle Jesse's place...

You could use a press to straighten them. They are just mild steel. Of course the bend gets some work hardening as a result and they would become more brittle, but probably not enough to worry about in a cruiser that never sees bad weather.

Dodgecharger.com would be the first source I'd check for used rods. After that, maybe Firm Feel or Mancini for new ones.
