Cool pics. Just wondering, what is "tennessee" ? Guessing its one of the sponsors, do you know what is written after it?

It says "Tennessee Bird Walk"  If you look to the left of the word Tennessee, there is a cartoon of a small Road Runner walking without his wings.     It was a popular novelty song in 1970 about birds that can't fly and walk around in underwear.   Now that you have asked, you will have to listen to it.

In June of 1970, Ramo Stott ran an ARCA  race at Talladega.   The head man of ARCA told him that the winged cars (he was the only one) had an advantage and they would have to race without nose and wings.    Ramo temporarily backdated the car as a Road Runner and put the song name up on the roof.   After the race, the car went back to a Superbird.    The lettering stayed up there for a while.
