how wide in rear and still fender tuck. 73 charger

I know from previous experience I Dont want no tires sticking out from under the read fender. I have a 73 charger and when it comes to wheels/tires on the rear, what width?/backspacing?/offset do I need to keel it under the fender and off the spring,but still run wide as possible.  I knke front isn't a big deal.   Pics would be nice as well.  Let's here your answers
