2nd Gen. where to put fire extinguisher?

When I wrap up the current dash/console projects, I was going to fab a mount that ties in with the passenger seat bracket.

You can kind of picture it as an "L" bracket that will fasten at the floor and move up to allow for clearance around the seat and floorboard.

Unless you are hauling someone really short, I don't think there will be any issues with the passenger.

If I can ever progress from where I am currently at I will get to work on it.

  Years ago I had a Landcruiser FJ-40 soft top. Steel seat backs made for great mounting points but I was amazed how many times, even with the top up jerks would steal or just discharge the long one hung on the back of the drivers seat.

Mine is located in the shop.

Here is the shifter by the seat, I could make it mount just to the rear of it. (I'm leaning towards bills location.  )
