RUSH tickets went on sale today here in the Detroit area and once again I bought 1 . . . usually go by myself as not that many of my friends are into them like I am.  Anyone in this area going?
Tomorrow is promised to NOBODY . . . .

I'm not in Detroit but plan on going when they hit the L.A. area in July/August. :2thumbs:

First saw them in November 1982 at Maple Leaf Gardens, then again in March 1986 at the same venue.  In October 2012 I was driving into Montreal and heard on the radio they were playing the Bell Centre that night so I ended up going.

Beyond the Lighted Stage is a documentary that came out in the past few years - really cool!

I am attending July 19 on the West Coast. First saw them on Permanent Waves tour 1980. Will be driving to the show with my "R30" keychain fob!

Playing here in NYC on June 29th...tix went on sale last week.....already sold out!  Might bite the bullet & buy a pair of "resale" tickets from Ticket Master.   Reseal tickets?  legal form of scalping?

Yes, Ticket Master really has it down to an art now. They have joined the scalpers so they can get a cut of the resale too. They are completely shameless.

Went with a buddy to see Van Halen a few years ago. Great show, but the seating kicked my ass.. I'm thinking Rush may be worth a few days in bed after, so I looked up the tickets prices.. $67.00 for the nose bleed seats... Damn... As much as I would like to go and relive my teens, I can't do it..  There is no way I can pay $67.00 to get in the door. Then $15.00 per beer and still do all the walking and lousy seats...

Guess I'll be listening on the radio..  :shruggy:

I was happy to spend $85 per seat. I looked into floor seats 28 rows back and they were $585 per ticket  :o

$67 bucks is a deal!  My one seat was $150+ . . . . that is direct from ticket master right when they went on sale . . . I think this is my 14th time, wife doesn't understand.   ::)

I probably should have explained better. It isn't just the $67.00... Being handicapped with a bad back I don't deal with crowds very well. Then add to it the seats I can afford are way up in the top back I just couldn't do it. The last concert I went to I was in the same position and spend the next 4 days in bed pounding pills.  :-\  I sure would love to see Rush though...

As soon as this topic popped up I looked to see where they were playing near me. The show in Newark, NJ only had the $212 seats left so forget it.  ::)

I got an email with the PNC Bank calendar (Formerly the Garden State Arts Center) & looked at Dave Mathews seats since my wife wanted to see him. The seats up front for Dave Mathews were $1700+ each.   :o

For that kind of money I expect Dave to pick my up at my house & take me to the show.
