I can't wait to watch this.  Bring on the Mayhem!

Man I love that '68. I don't care if it was slower than the Subaru, it sounded killer and looked better skating around the course...
1968 Charger R/T, matching numbers 440/727, black with green top and interior, currently getting restored by me

I love Roadkill. Its better than any car show on TV. I bought me a shirt the other day, came in the mail Thursday, Its got a picture of the 73 Fury they raced at Lemons (Episode 22), and says 'Mint' under it. You can see Finnegan wearing it in a couple of episodes. I wish they would make one with the Charger on it.

Boy you can tell those guys were having a blast in that 68.... I want to build a car like that one day, either use an A body or maybe a 71-74 b body, just focus my attention on engine and suspension, don't worry about paint, interior, etc.

Considering how much of a fan-favorite that car is, I think it needs its own webisode series.  All Mayhem - all the time!   :yesnod:

Do they still have it?

The General Mayhem?  Yeah they do.

And I think there was a TV show with them beating around on a 69 Dodge Charger in creek beds and backroads... it was called the Dukes of Hazzard.

Ghoste

Really?  Never heard of it.  Any good?  :D

I thought about posting that video on here when it came out...but figured it would start a never ending bitch fest that would go on for eternity.... :smilielol:

I tried perusing the thread (and the intarwebs) but found NOTHING listing some really important information, namely:

- wheel & tire size, offset?
- what Hotchkis suspension parts they used?

If somebody wanted to recreate the stance, profile and road manners of this Charger, I'd hope Frieburger would publish this stuff.

Someone made a scale model of it. I'm guessing it's 1:24 scale.

I'm trying to turn my car into a road kill charger....i have a thoes hammer, paint, and rust forming stuff....

I haven't watched the show much but I checked out that "Subaru challenge" part just for the Charger action. I didn't become a fan but I did like the Charger. The Charger that I recently bought didn't come with a grille so I think I might go to the same direction with my front end solution.

Leave Charger in pasture, half stuck to the ground because you don't have $50k to restore it vs. pull Charger out of pasture and spend $2k cobbling it together enough to run/enjoy. Option 2 wins every time.

I do like your way of thinking. With $2k "restoration" you don't need to worry that your paint has been scratched in a parking lot.

One of my friends went to local car gatherings with his nice magazine cover hot rod and spent the whole event driving kids away from the car's running boards. His car was cool but it has too nice to be left alone.

Its in all the roadkill videos bits and pieces.....cant watch just one episode to figure out the whole car build up.  He casually talks about each piece on every episode when they mention charger.
