Manual calls for 3ea 158's for gauge area. Most use 194's? (Wedge types) 194's are slightly brighter and hotter than 158's per spec so is that noticeably different as in will speedo/clock look dimmer than gauges?
I've no interest in LED's, I just want things to look right. I'm refacing gauge set and installing new dash harness so replacing all bulbs. I'm just hoping someone has done similar and knows from experience the results.
Thanks

Dino

I have not used them but if they are brighter aren't they hotter as well then?  I'm just wondering if the plastic lenses can take more heat.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

Thanks Wing, 194's then, I'm not trying to reinvent the wheel! Wanting a daily driver has it's own demands, a bit brighter is better than a bit dimmer if there is no harm to the blue covers or dimmer windings!  :2thumbs:
