Car club members bought a Dart

Two members of the Horsepower Hooligans bought a Dart. It's a 1967, once a 273 and now a 340. They bought it to drive and show. It's not "real" and they don't care. I'll see if anyone picks up what I'm talking about

Sort of. GTS models only came with a 383 yet this car was originally a 273. Not to mention it's now a 340 car and still wears 273 badges

So not a real GTS.

i thought the 383 was an option. and the 340 was standard??
anyway, i'd like to have a dart someday... need to convince the wife to let me have two cars

In late 1967 the GTS was only available in 383 as my understanding because there was no 340 at the time. Then in '68 the 340 became standard.

I'd prefer a 340 instead of the 440 in my Dart I think. Makes a heavy front end

No problem with a clone, except they paid "real GTS" price for it

I'd sure drive it. wouldn't want to share it with anyone else though. I'm selfish that way.

Apparently snow tires will be in order.  Looks like a nice car to have fun with.  Those 273 emblems will probably leave holes.
