Have installed set of hookers on a 440  . How have others routed the fuel line  . I am thinking of either outside the frame rail  up  past the front suspension  and into engine compartment or along the top of  the frame rail the  up and over and back down the shock hump but  on the engine compartment side of the inner fender. Any suggestions welcome. The original routing is too close to header pipes.

Never run a fuel line inside the car.
I had fuel boiling & vapor lock problems years ago with a similar setup. I used a 3/8" line ran along the frame rail just like stock but slipped a thermal sleeve over it.

The thermal sleeve will work even though it is about an inch from the header pipe?

kern dog how did you hook the fuel line in place with that sleeve?

I ended up running  the line out the hole before the shock tower, under the upper control arm(bracketed against frame )then under  frame in front of control arm and to the pump. I am not closer then 3 inches to any header pipe.

The sleeve was large enough to slip over the fittings. This was years ago with a different set of headers. I now have TTI 2" pipes that fit closer to the block.
