71 dodge backup light SWITCH replacment- oily mess?

The new switch on the trans, the 3-pin thing on the left side- if you pull that out, does ATF gush all over the place for many quarts? None at all? Just  a little?

If the truck is level some fluid will pour out but if you jack the left side up high enough you won't lose much if any.

I'd just leave it level and use a container to catch the fluid...out flow will depend on how abruptly you remove the switch.
