What's the best source for roof channel weather stripping
in terms of quality and fit?

I used Metro brand. It fits and seals good. Quality seems good. I would not recommend their door weatherstrips though.
At the time when I bought it, Summit Racing had the best price on it.

I used the Metro door and roofrail weatherstriping on both a 69 charger and 70 cuda,,no complaints about either
