Nice pickup!  Is it a M & P like the pistol?

Looks good, why no muzzle device or iron sights. Whats the barrel twist?

Lot's of AR clones nowadays come "optic ready" with no fixed sights.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

Barrel twist is 1 in 9 I believe. The no iron sights are generally because people put optics in the rifle anyways. The no muzzle break is because the rifle was made for the US market where some of the states don't allow muzzle breaks as that makes it an "assault rifle"  :shruggy:

Muzzle brakes are usually allowed but flash hiders are a no-no in some places.

Funny thing is there is some disagreement on what constitutes a flash hider/muzzle brake/compensator.

It's whatever the ultra lib nazis in Sacto say it is.
The mil spec birdcage flash hider on my Colt AR-15
is one of those no-no's. I bought the rifle in 1984
pre-ban so I'm legal. The PRK gets worse every day.

Im in NJ so I had to put a muzzle brake on the end of my barrel instead of a flash hider. I cant have a flash hider on my AR in NJ so I had to find a muzzle brake that was marketed as only a brake/comp. It makes the rifle louder but gets rid of most of the recoil and rise. I've been shooting my Garand more to get some real recoil. I have a cheap YHM brake on it. I actually prefer iron sights, I have a primary arms aimpoint knockoff and never use it.

Heard that one.  Well, at least I'm no longer getting hate-email from all of the anti-gun protesters I used to demonstrate against...
