Would of been cool if the boat had been HEMI powered like some of them were!  Still nice setup!   :2thumbs:
Tomorrow is promised to NOBODY . . . .

JB400

That would be a nice setup to take to the Ozarks, or any lake for that matter. :yesnod:

It was the early Hemi  not the 426.   Usually paired up in large cruisers.
Looked at 40 ft Mathews once with twins and a brand new one in the crate.

Sold for $41,600.....somebody got a bargain on a beautiful color combo 4-speed Coronet R/T if you ask me.   :drool5:

An unmolested  4-speed 1969 Coronet R/T with 57,000 miles, original never rusted body with one repaint, buildsheet, fresh air hood, untouched engine (never out of car) should bring a minimum $35,000 all day long.  I have no idea what that boat was worth, but IMO its almost always a mistake to sell auction combos.  If sold separately the owner could have netted more.  :Twocents: :Twocents:

Boat had little value.  But it was a great way to dispose of it.

An unmolested  4-speed 1969 Coronet R/T with 57,000 miles, original never rusted body with one repaint, buildsheet, fresh air hood, untouched engine (never out of car) has got to be every bit of $35K all day long and certainly worth more to the right owner.  I have no idea what that boat was worth, but IMO its almost always a mistake to sell auction combos.  If sold separately the owner could have netted more.  :Twocents: :Twocents:

I agree.  That car sells to a very limited group and the odds against  finding a buyer that bounces up and down about this combo is high.

I can understand the sellers point of view.  They have made a considerable investment in this pair and together they click.  But on the market they are two separate items.

shouldn't it have a blue interior    :scratchchin:

The car?

It's coded P6C meaning blue and white. Not a common trim.

I know of a guy in California that took a 426 out of a boat and put it in his cuda  . . . not sure how many made it into boats though . . . .

The two tone interiors are not common and, IMHO, simply stunning. Here's a P6V red and white on a red car. Notice the dash, console, carpet, seat belts and door panels are red with white seats. Red, blue and green were available in the two tone.
