Has anyone ever come up with a disc brake setup that offers some improvement using 16" (not 17+) wheels over 15"?

Wilwood's 12.19 kit may be the best ticket out there. These also fit some 15" rims too.

16" wheels can support a 12.4 rotor. I'm not sure anyone makes a kit in that size for Mopars, but you might be able to piece one together out of catalog parts  from Wilwood or Baer.

The 255/50/16 was used on new Corvettes for awhile back in the day so there are some options including g-force BFG. The 255/50/16 is a 10" tread tire 26.1" tall and will fit on 8-10" rim range. These actually still have a decent selection range in the performance area, fill the wheel wells pretty good, and can be had for a decent price.

These are what I am using will post some pics when I get the new set in!

Looking forward to seeing how they work out.  :2thumbs:

I was reading threw the post again. You said you want all 4 the same size . You shouldn't have a problem with that ! There are many options that are 27" tall but only 7 - 9" wide . My big problem is that i personally have to have that 10" wide tire so I can sleep at night !!

Try finding decent options for 14" mag 500's.....not much.   (I know....off topic.)    Cooper Cobras...speed of about 100 mph scared the crap out of me.

I've been searching for options, this company seems to be on top of things:  http://www.performanceplustire.com/
You might need to call or dig around on site, it took me a wile for me to figure out how to see cost for 4 Torque Thrust D 15"X8" with 245/60R 15" tires but only because they have so much to pick from.
