Has anyone flow tested these heads?
I took mine apart and had 2 benches flow test them.

1 used some putty on intake and 2" pipe on exhaust side.
Other on did not use any putty and could not flow exhaust because flow reversing valve broke.

I did some minor work on 1 intake and exhaust, then tested them with as-cast port's.

Numbers were pretty differen't from Eddys data from their page.

More thought's..

I do know very well that flow benches have variables and cannot be measured from each other.Even clay on intake port opening makes difference after .300 lift

So can some of you long time Mopar gurus give me some thought's?

Here's the number's at 28"

Bench nr 1,nothing on post entry,no exhaust data

Out of box         clean up+30deg back-cut
lift        in/ex      in/ex

.100    71/---     65/---
.200   133/---    142/---
.300   192/---    205/---
.400   232/---    241/---
.500   248/---    257/---
.600   255/---    262/---
.700   256/---    263/---

Bench nr2,some radiused clay on intake port opening,2"pipe on exhaust

Out-of Box           clean up,30deg back cut

lift      in/ex              in/ex
.100   67/ 48            66/51
.200   134/105         140/107
.300   189/140         208/144
.400   236/174         255/177
.500   258/200         279/203
.600   268/218         286/224
.700   276/224         295/237

To sum it up on my head,i'm pretty happy because i did gain some flow, cleaned the turbulence in intake that it had as-cast form.Even though the number's don't "line-up" with number's on Edelbrock or other flow number's that i came up with on internet on RPM head's.

I did manage to create some turbulence on exhaust side at .100 to .200.After that it relaxed and cleaned up.More work on short side radius and roof were made.

I also tried to make as little as possible to add cc in runner on both sides(in+ex),because these head's are going on my low budget 383 and with hyd flat tappet cam under 240 at .050".

More info on engine after dyno ;)

What do you think?
