My '01 Sport winter beater. Upgraded headlights just arrived a few days ago.  This truck has had the trans extensively upgraded, and the same with the top half of the engine. She isn't a diesel, but I love it just the same.

that truck with cab lights on top would be awesome....especially with a cummins, but a 360 gasser isn't bad....nice winter ride! It looks like its in good shape too

Would love to have one of the older Power Wagons but for the time being I ordered this early in June and picked it up end of July. I love the thing...  Charger will make Carlisle next year to boot!!   :2thumbs:

Daddy ran whiskey in a big black dodge
bought it at an auction at the masons lodge,
Johnson County Sherriff painted on the side,
just shot a coat of primer then he looked inside,
well him and my uncle tore that engine down,
I still remember that rumblin' sound.....

Just picked up this '14 2500HD with Cummins power. Not too loaded up just the gotta haves. Ive never towed before but Im told this truck will make it a piece of cake.

Mine is the same but in Blue, with 6 speed manual, manual 4wheel drive shift. Love the factory fifth wheel tow set up from the factory. Picked it up in July, got about 650 miles on it. Made some 2 inch spacer blockes to set the tow hooks out a littel further, not on yet.

Why do all 94 and up Dodge/Ram trucks not have front tow hooks. WTF

If it's 4x4 I believe they do. My 2006 4x4 has them, so does the truck above.

They are available as an option package on the 14's. Though I believe it's standard on the Outdoorsman model and one other that I don't recall.  I added it to my 4x4 as you mentioned. It's called the "Protection group" and includes the hooks and skid plates. IIRC it was $150.

Tow hooks were an option on mine. I would have them had I bought my truck new, and in fact, have it on my list of upgrades down the road. Factory fascia  with the openings are still available last I knew.

Pulled the trigger on this last weekend. 14 RAM 2500, Cummins Diesel, crew cab, 6'4" bed. 17k tow capacity (a bit overkill). Tradesman model with a few options- bedliner, back up cam and sensor, trailer tow package, electric shift on fly 4wd, 18" wheel, etc.. Love the fold out mirrors for towing, those will definitely beat the crappy strap on tow mirrors I use now.
Have put about 200 miles on it, averaging over 20 mpg, a bit better than the 2500HD Silverado I have that is getting 12.
