Build Sheet Question

On my 73 Charger build sheet it says 00 for spare.  When I decoded the sheet, I initially thought it meant spare delete.
But in looking at decoding info, seems W07 is spare tire delete.
So if that is the case (07) what does 00 mean?

Good question!!  :yesnod:   Has anyone ever seen a sales code ending in 00 before?  :scratchchin:

This is just a "wild-ass guess" on my part...but could it have anything to do with part number?  :shruggy:

Normally I would say, yes.  Since a bunch of other on the sheet are.  Fan, clutch, alt, radiator etc.
BUT I don't believe they ever assigned part numbers to tires.  Rim, yes, but the tires, I'd say no..

yup, I agree with you....one would think it should be a sales code there.   :shruggy:

My build sheet has a code under the "T-U-V" box on the second line that designates what tire goes on the car.  This is a 1969 build sheet and may not have the same info. as the 1973 ones as there is no block on it for the spare. Any of the choices for "T" or "U" designated the type of tire installed but, this was probably a '68 to '70 thing, maybe til 1971, not sure.  If interested, my code is "U65" which meant F70-15 Redline fiberglass.

Here is a picture of mine with the redlines on the restored original wheels using original "A12" lug nuts.

There is a box next to the box for T-U-V that has the header "WO7" which when looked up is "spare delete" but mine is blank. Also a box next to that one that has "W3-" that is also blank on mine and when looked up, the only W3- code listed is W34 or space-saver spare on '71-'79 cars.

I gotta think, and this is just a guess, that "00" typed in the spare tire box would be the same as my blank one that indicates you had a spare tire just like the ones that came on the Charger.

Yes, second line on mine says T56 - h78x14 WSW.
Then 4th line
Wheels 55 - Color TX9 - Spare 00
Road - 55   14 x 5.5 steel wheel last 2 - 3580055 (ss3621953)
Color - TX9   black
Spare - 00   delete??
Then, another thought ... what comes in the trunk if it is a "spare delete"? Jack I would assume, do you get the long bolt with wing nut and all the hardware that comes along with the jack?   :shruggy:
Then my 73 had (when I got it) an orginal h78x14 bias ply tire and wheel in the trunk. Dealer add, or is it not a spare delete?
