Original 69 trunk factory deform?

HI!

i have my trunk lid clean of paint and filler, did the factory use a lot of filler, was the body parts like the trunk lid often a little deformed (outside top)
Dosent look like dents it looks like the machine pressing it.

And it not the blasting doing it
it had a lot of filler, looks like original

ok, it seems that the outer skin has sunk in against the inner reinforcement

Definitely sounds like warp from sand blasting.

not from me anyway, someone did that before then and put a lot of filler on it.

When someone deforms a part by hitting it too hard with a sandblaster and then covers it up with a layer of bondo.

So it havet benen blasten.
It has like four high lines from deck filler facing to. The rear of the. Car.
