hi. would a pump from a 71 fury 318 be the same as a 70 roadrunner 383?  The pulley size and the pump itself? thanks

Good question, apart from the mounting Brkts being different , brkts are different for big blocks and small blocks, the pumps could be the same if from the same manufacturer ,

I read somewhere  that the pressure valve inside the pump is different for each of the Body styles ,  C-body with a 440 has more power assist & A body with a slant six has the least etc  , not sure if this info I read was on the net or in a mopar mag  :scratchchin:  sure it had part numbers too for the different pressure valves  :scratchchin:
