April fool's baby

A woman is in the hospital giving birth on April Fool's Day. The doctor delivers the baby and takes it into the next room to clean the blood off. In a few minutes the doctor returns with the newborn baby in his arms, walks over to the window, raises the glass and tosses the baby out the window. The horrified woman screams, "my baby!", to which the doctor replies,

"April Fools, it was already dead!"
