Anyone have and tips or advice on how to safely remove the trim? I bought a tool today from O'Reilley and it doesn't work worth a damn. Mine is in really good shape and don't want to screw it up.  Thanks for the help!

I used a regular bottle cap opener. Cover the tang jaw with a couple pieces of blue
painter's tape and begin gently prying up the trim from the bottom of the drip rail. Just enough
to get it loose every foot or so. Once the bottom is lifted you can remove it by hand
just don't twist it.

The VT will peel right off, any residual glue can be cleaned off with 3M adhesive remover
and WD40.

Progress pictures please........you know how visual we are.

Thanks guys. Just a little paranoid I guess. I started a thread for the rebuild. You can find it here:  http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,112010.0.html
