I don't know, I'm not much for the heavily customized stuff but I can remember when this was exactly what I wanted.

Mytur Binsdirti

There was a time I was in awe with something like that, but there's no way in hell I'd want that now. On a similar note, a Hellcat Challenger has all that underneath the hood & it's just better.

Back N Black

WOW!  :o, imagine trying to cover that with a hood scoop.

DAY CLONA

Nothing wrong with an old school blower sticking thru the hood, just that's a bit too much :Twocents:

Yeah, it kinda reminds me of those caricature cartoon like diecasts.

You mean kinda like these old T shirt prints  :icon_smile_big:

Exactly.  Wish I still had some of my old ones.  (they wouldn't fit but they would make nice garage art)

SovereignZuul

Maybe I'm young and immature but that's not far off what I want.

Smaller rear tires and a smaller blower but yep.

I almost threw these out years ago, glad I didn't. I should frame them and use them as garage wall art as you suggested. No way I'm fitting into these shirts now  :smilielol: :smilielol: :smilielol:

take the shirt with the design on it to a t-shirt shop and they can put it on a new larger shirt for you

In my younger years, I wanted something like that...  Yet for a street driven car, it just makes no practical sense to me anymore.  Plus I'd never hack a Charger hood now.

There's ample supply of fiberglass aftermarket hoods if you needed to go that route.  Personally, in a car like that I wouldn't have a hood anyway....

I actually love that old school-blower setup still. Dont really know why, i think it's the whole look of it, a symbol of brute force. Would love an 8-71 blower on my 68, but unfortunatly i cant get the car road legal here in Norway with that thing sticking out of the hood  :shruggy:

The Hellcat is carbureted?   :popcrn:

Years ago when I bought my 70 it had a high rise intake and a six pack scoop riveted to the rusty hood. The P.O. drag raced the car so it was all for function. After finding a good replacement hood he asked if I was going to put the scoop back on as I had replaced the high rise with a six pack.  He looked confused when I told him all scoops and blowers do on hoods do is pull cops on your tail!
The week or two I drove the car with just a standard size six pack scoop on it I was constantly noticing how my view was blocked off in traffic.
