I never cared for the ramones much until I listened to what my little brother was listening to, over the years I've enjoyed listening to their music.  It grows on you.  Now when one of the songs comes on the radio I get to think about my younger brother who passed a few years back. 

RIP, while you'll be missed, you won't be forgotten.
