I recently bought these bulbs to upgrade my interior lights:  http://www.ebay.com/itm/110996849220?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

I tested one in the cluster lighting and it fits, the bulb itself is about 1/8" longer than the stock bulb but I guess that'll work.  Today I needed to install my a/c controls so went to put the bulbs in but these don't fit.  Which ones do I need?

The other bulbs I bought are these but I think these are for the cluster only?  http://www.ebay.com/itm/120960153862?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

So if I want to replace all the bulbs in the interior what else do I need?  It's a light package car so ignition lamp, glove box, ash tray, radio, dome light, console, ...

The BA9S should work for the a/c lights? Do they not fit in the socket or do they not fit through the mounting hole? If they don't fit the base check the base of the bulb and see if the 2 little pins that lock the bulb in place are centered, I've seen a few where they are off.

As for the other bulbs:
Console, dome, and map lights are a 1142
Shifter lens light, ashtray, glovebox, radio, ignition, are all BA9S

Be careful on the map light and ignition bulb. The LEDs like the ones you bought will not fit in the housings. You will need a bulb like these that don't have extra material around the base.

I have these in mine, have not wired up the ignition light so can't comment on the brightness but the map light works well. And I use the same bulb in the console as well. But use a larger 1142 for the dome light, there is plenty of room for a bulb with 15+ bulbs in it.

I 'thought' the base didn't fit but as it turns out, the bulb part is too big and hits the metal frame holding the sockets.  While twisting one of those leds in the cluster socket, the bulb parts snapped right off.  I took the base of it and it fits in the a/c socket.

They look a bit long but I guess they work as Chris is running them.

I'll get a few of the smaller ones where needed.

Thanks!

I fiddled with those leds and was able to get them in the a/c light bar.  One side of the led bulb part touches the frame though but if these things don't get hot as claimed, it should work.  I stuck the light bar in the controls, put power to them and it sure looks nice!

When I stuck the bulbs on the circuit board, they almost hit the blue lenses so I hope they really stay cool!
