Just talked to my buddy at the Dodge dealer, said the  price of the Viper has been drooped 15,000.00. So does that mean a used one should come down also. ?.

Has the price of new Vipers ever had any effect on the price of used Vipers before?  I didn't think so.

However, those few who did pay full price for the new '14 models are screwed.   :eek2:

Those that bought a 2014 Viper will get a $15k rebate. :yesnod:  If a person trades a 2013/4 Viper for a 2015 Viper, they get even more savings, if I understand it correctly.  Check the dealership to be sure on that part.

Dino

Is it selling that badly?
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

If I remember right, they shutdown Viper production this summer because they were selling so poorly.   Meanwhile GM was having trouble keeping up with the new C7 Corvette production due to high demand.   At this year's auto show in our town the new Corvette on display had a sticker price of $70,000.   The Viper on display had a sticker price of $138,000.   Though they didn't have identical options, they were close.   I know which one I would buy.

Sold my Charger unfortunately....never got it finished.

I just don't think the Viper has the same draw it did in the mid-90's to mid-2000's.  At least I've scored one of their transmissions  :icon_smile_big:

As I understand it, the new prices are $15k lower and they are offering an additional $15k off to current 2013-2014 owners. That's for a trade-in OR just a discount! I tried to convince my boss to take the $30k off a new one and sell me his 2014 but he didn't go for it. His biggest issue was trying to find a dealer that wasn't marking them up $30k over sticker. He finally found a place in Tennessee without a markup and had it a day later.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

Always glad to hear when people won't give the dealers an additional markup.  :yesnod:
