Just wondering - is it necessary to realign the vehicle after the center link has been dropped?  I don't think it is - but thought it best to confirm.

Thanks!

Hard Charger

wouldn't think so if it was replaced with the same part.

but if you had a recent alignment and the old link had really blown out mounting holes then maybe.

Brass

Yup - same part and in good shape.  It was dropped to change the oil pan.

I would bet the older one did have at least a little play in the mounting holes. prob. 40 + years old.

I bet the manuals say to align every time you touch the front end. wait and see if there is any drift.

No alignment necessary in the circumstance you indicate.

Hey guys.  I dropped the center link on my 68 to get new headers in.  It was rough getting it off so i basically destroyed the bushings. C an i get new bushings?  Should i just get a new center-link?

Thanks HC, any lead on where is the best place to go for something like that?  Does it come with bushings?

Haven't found a new centerline on any sites thus far
