My '69 is a factory undercoat car and the undercoat in the wheel wells is in good shape and the metal underneath just shines (cut through a few areas to verify).
so my question is the factory undercoat is dirty and ugly would it be in my best interest to clean and scuff up the factory stuff and apply a new coat of body schultz to give it that "new" look?
I have done several searches on this site and others before posting like I always do but have not found an answere to this specific question. Please advise.

I have the original under coating and i use the spray bomb truck bed liner to keep it looking fresh. It doesn't take long to get dirty, i just wash and re-apply the truck bed coating.
