Price Range For Pair of Daytona Fender Scoops?

When I purchased my fiberglass Daytona parts as a package deal several years ago, one of the fender scoops was missing. The guy I bought them from said he couldn't recall if he ever actually even had the pair, so I knew I needed to buy one at some point. Of course finding just one will be highly unlikely, so if I have to buy a pair of them I am okay with that. (I think I have the driver's side)

My question is, what is the going price for a pair of these scoops?   :shruggy:

As long as I am posting a price question, does anyone know if any of the people making parts will sell single scoops?

Thanks.

I would be looking at Mike Goyette -Dayclona if you are looking for reproductions. Not perfect, but he has very high quality parts.

I was told by the guy I bought my repro parts from that they were made by Ted, so I called Ted a while back telling him I had one scoop & needed the other side. I was asking him if he would sell a single one & got the impression he would, but he asked me some questions about the scoop I did have. One key question was the "grade quality" of it. I knew he made different levels of his parts but I have no idea which one I have. I took photos to send him but his website does not have an email address so I need to call him again & see if he has an email address. I'll try to call him again tonight after work.

Thanks Dave, I just emailed Ted & sent him photos of the scoop I have so he can let me know if it's one he actually made & what grade it is.

It has the word "Drive" in hand written marker on it, but I don't want to assume it's for the driver's side in case the guy I got it from wrote it by mistake.

That does NOT look like my Ted's scoops.

Mine are smooth on the inside, and appear to be molded plastic.

Thanks for the heads up.

When I was talking to Ted he mentioned the same thing about being smooth on the bottom. I know he makes different grades of his product so I didn't rule it out entirely, especially since the guy I got the parts from said they were Ted's.

No big deal though, I just hope I can get one side & save a few bucks.

Just an update..... Ted emailed me back & said the photos look like a scoop he made about 30 years ago.  :o

I guess some things never change, people bought parts 30 years ago for unfinished projects that never got finished.
