Need Help Locating Trunk Rail Body Number

Folks,

Can anyone help me locate the body number on the trunk rail of my 70 Charger? I don't want to pull back all of the weather stripping and can't seem to find where it might be.

Are you asking about a part number for a new trunk lid weather strip?

Unfortunately it is hidden by the weatherstrip.  Standing behind the car it will be on your left hand side of the opening and usually about one quarter to one half of the way up the rail.

No, I guess I wasn't clear. I'm looking for the location of the partial VIN that's stamped under the trunk lid along the rail that's hidden by the weather stripping.

Unfortunately it is hidden by the weatherstrip.  Standing behind the car it will be on your left hand side of the opening and usually about one quarter to one half of the way up the rail.

Alright thanks. I'll give that a shot. At least I should only have to peel back some of the stripping.
