'73 Charger Radiator Mounting

Looking for some info on where to find radiator mounts that are correct... Currently have some.. creative.. mounts in place.

26" champion radiator. '73 440.

Yea, you know - like the piece between the radiator and the frame? Or am I missing something here?

Hmm, well the pieces that mount to the radiator support and attached to the radiator. This is the one I took off my car, 28 inch and not OEM but you can see the sides.
Unless you are speaking of the radiator support itself.

I must be looking for the radiator support. Any pictures or any ideas on where to find such a piece? What vehicles could I scavenge from in a junkyard?

So from what I make of that I need:

2x 3672248-9
1x 2998326

Are these Dodge/Chrysler numbers I just have to ask them about?

Well, odd is left and even right. So you would need for 26 inch rad.
3672248 right side
3672249 left side
3817084 lower
3672723 upper (if you need that)
2998326 is the fan shroud

So none of these pieces are on your car now? What is there?  Got any pics?

I'm wondering if the guy before me swapped it out for a smaller core and used the 28" setup... I know what was on there and what I have are both 26".

Ah, I see where you are going now.  Who knows why people do what they do.  Maybe he had cooling issues.
All you would need is the 2 side pieces, top and bottom are the same.
Well, you can go with a 28 and it should mount right up looks like. But if you are set on a 26 the sides are what you need. They wont be difficult to find but getting them off unmangled is another story.

Unfortunately to go with the 28" I'd have to dump the 26" I have now (nice 26" 4 core) and figure out who I could order from. I shot VC a PM to see if he's got what I need. Would the brackets from a '73 with a 318 fit a 26" radiator? If so I may have my own donor...

If the 318 had A/C it most likely had a 26 rad.

Well, based on the dash it HAD A/C... Whether or not it did or if they swapped dashes....
